Anti-Authenticity, panel discussion
Comprising keynote lectures, panel discussions, residencies, screenings, a book, an exhibition, and a series of experiments such as ‘secret brunches’ and ‘the lounge’, the 2016 Impakt festival, co-curated with Barbara Cueto, was quite a tour de force. Dealing with the topic of the value of authenticity in the post-digital age, we invited, among many others, Franco ‘Bifo’ Berardi, Chus Martínez, and David Joselit for talks, screened Ben Rivers’ films, and mounted an exhibition including works by DIS, Harm van den Dorpel, Minja Gu, Tobias Kaspar, Oliver Laric, Jonas Lund & Sebastian Schmieg, Elise van Mourik, Amalia Ulman, Beny Wagner, Korakrit Arunanondchai, and General Idea.
